According to Contactmusic, Keating found early fame in the boy band Boyzone and hates his nice guy image because his supposed wild lifestyle is far from his mild reputation.

He says: "All the Mr Nice stuff is a bit f**king annoying. I drink too much, I smoke when I am drunk, and I wake up feeling like something's died in my mouth."
