"I am very happy about it and thank her. I hope she will join talks with the state government (on the acquisition of land at Singur for a Tata Motors' project) after she gets well," Mukherjee told reporters in Nabagram in Murshidabad district.

Banerjee, who ended her 25-day-old fast on Thursday night, is now in an intensive care unit of a hospital in Kolkata.
