My relationship with God is very beautiful. I share all my problems with Him, and I don’t think I have ever felt a void in my life even during moments of crisis.
He has always provided solutions. As I drift into the lap of sleep, it’s as if miraculously my dreams get me all the answers that I have been seeking during the day. I’m a very basic person with my feet firmly on the ground, and my family has surely played a big role in moulding my beliefs. They have drilled that reverence into me. But I don’t believe in regular pujas or havans. I don’t have anything against rituals but time is a big factor.
I’ve never given up chanting Gayatri Mantra, though, and I make it a point to chat Him up at least for a while. It helps me strike a balance between the calm within and the stress I experience throughout the day.
Yoga for me is the best path to de-stressing. Every time I do it, I experience this amazing feeling – one that brings peace to me and helps me get a grip on myself. Though I can’t possibly indulge in hours of meditation, the chanting of Om provides me inner solace.

{{/usCountry}}If there is one place I’d love to visit, it would have to be the Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Lodhi Road and adhere strictly to the schedule of going there every Thursday. I believe in goddesses Vaishno Devi, Chintapurni and Saraswati too but I am the biggest devotee of the Baba. However, to serve the old, the blind, the lepers and the infirm is for me true devotion.
