`I'm looking for good boys for my daughters'

Dharmendra who turned 75 on Tuesday, and also completed 50 years in Bollywood still gets excited on seeing himself on screen. Catch the actor in a conversationw ith Ritu Pandey.

Bade shauq se sun raha tha zamaana, hamin so gaye dastaan kehte kehte. That's something I don't want to happen to me." So says Dharmendra who turned 75 on Tuesday, and also completed 50 years in Bollywood. "It feels like only yesterday that I came to Bombay (it wasn't Mumbai then) from Punjab."

His excitement on seeing himself on screen, hasn't dimmed: "I know it's childish, but the urge to see yourself on posters is something you can't take away from an actor even after 50 years."

The Jahnu Barua-directorial, Har Pall is ready for release next year. In the scripting stage is a home production, Cheers. with son Bobby Deal and him.

There's also Masters, an action-comedy to be directed by Anil Sharma, with all three Deols. And Sunny Deol's directorial venture The Man with Shilpa Shetty.

What about his daughters? Getting emotional Dharamendra says, "My boys are settled. Now I want to see my daughters settled too. We are looking out for good boys for them."

He is very proud of nephew Abhay Deol. "He's a better actor than all the Deols combined," he asserts. "And he has a knack for marketing. He'll do very well."
