Daniel Craig revealed that he never wanted to be James Bond, while responding to hate mails from hardcore fans of the spy franchise. The actor also disclosed his fears of being blamed if CasinoRoyale flops.

"I never really wanted to do James Bond. Don't get me wrong, I want to make big movies and I want to make as much money as I possibly can, but there's not a tremendous emotional challenge," FemaleFirst quoted him as saying.

"It's a dodgy place to be walking. I don't really want to get the rap for destroying that franchise. I mean, that wouldn't be a good place to be," he further added.
