IBM awarded eSCM-SP certification

IBM's Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) practice has been awarded the eSCM-SP certification.

IBM and Carnegie Mellon University on Thursday announced that IBM's Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) practice has been awarded the eSCM-SP certification.

The eSCM-SP (eSourcing Capability Model for Service Providers) certification gives prospective clients a guide to evaluate, select and monitor service providers based on key BTO capabilities such as knowledge, performance, technology management, a release said.

IBM was awarded the certification at capability level four for its two BTO delivery centres in India: The BTO Operations of IBM global services India and IBM-Daksh, a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM.
