The allegations of match-fixing continue to dog Indian cricket, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has sent two of its officials to investigate reports of match-fixing in the just-concluded ODI tournament in Zimbabwe.
The ACU (Anti-Corruption Unit) officials, Martin Hawkins and Allen Peacock, were reportedly tipped off by their colleagues supervising the series.
The Income Tax Department officials in Mumbai have also confirmed that ICC officials are going to have a meeting with the Mumbai police regarding cricket betting.
The ACU's doubts were fanned by India's below-par performance and New Zealand dropping strike bowlers Shane Bond and Daniel Vettori against India in the fifth game of the series.
The first Test match between India and Zimbabwe commences on Tuesday in Bulawayo.
