IED inside pressure-cooker unearthed in Doda

An Improvised Explosive Device, filled with five-kg of RDX has been unearthed from Udhainpur area in Doda district, say the officials in Jammu.

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED), filled with five-kg of RDX was unearthed from Udhainpur area in Doda district, official sources said in Jammu on Friday.

Rashtriya Rifle (RR) troops detected the IED, kept inside a pressure-cooker, at a foot bridge in Udhainpur, 15 kms from the Doda town, they said.

The area was cordoned off and the bomb was defused by experts, they said, adding search operation was on to nab militants behind the act.
