IKF Technologies Ltd has decided to approve the proposal for taking over the controlling interest in US-based Fortech Software Consulting.
A decision to this effect was taken by the board of directors at a meeting held on Thursday, the Hyderabad-based IT company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Apart from approving taking over the controlling interest (shareholding) of US software company located at Tempe, the board also resolved to set up software development and support centre for Fortech offshore business processes, it said.
The company would also deploy software and ERP consultants for project implementation in the US in addition to establish a high-security legal document processing centre for legal/paralegal firms, it said.
The proposal to set up a call centre was given go ahead by the board besides developing a training division for training its personnel.
The company also got the nod to apply for two acres land in Salt Lake Electronics Complex, Kolkata in order to cater to its expansion plans.
