IHO dwells upon dengue treatment

THE INDIAN Homoeopathic Organisation (IHO) discussed various medicines available for treatment of dengue and chikangunya. A meeting in this regard was held at the YMCA school.

THE INDIAN Homoeopathic Organisation (IHO) discussed various medicines available for treatment of dengue and chikangunya. A meeting in this regard was held at the YMCA school. Dr SB Srivastava from Lal Bahadur Shastri Homoeopathic College spoke about the symptoms dengue, chikangunya and other mosquito-borne diseases. He said infected aedes aegypti mosquito transmitted dengue. The main symptoms of dengue included high fever, joints pain, backache and severe headache. “The patient may also start vomiting, feel restless and insomnia.”

He further said chikangunya, too, had the similar symptoms. The chikangunya patient also suffered from eye infection and photophobia, he said. He suggested various homoeopathic medicines for the quick relief. Addressing the meeting, a senior homoeopathy expert Dr RK Kapoor said a dose of Eupatorium-200 effectively combated dengue.
