Several build-operate-transfer (B-O-T) projects, including construction of footbridge-cum-escalators on AB and MG Road, a footbridge near Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya and 25 community toilets, will be taken up during the session.

The meeting - convened more than a month after the maximum 60-day gap between two sessions mandated by law - will also address proposals for setting up seven hawkers’ zones, renting out rooftops of IMC-owned markets to outdoor advertisers, endorsement of the e-governance contract awarded to M/s Elbiz and clearance of the highest bid for community toilets.

Also on the anvil - allotment of additional shops built under Patel Bridge at Chhoti Gwaltoli, renewal of the lease for 339, Shivaji Nagar near Indore Rolling Mill, scrutiny of receipts from water tax and regularisation of illegal water connections, letting out Nehru Stadium for staging the play Jaanta Raja and leasing the rooftop of the IMC market at MTH Compound to the nearby Gulreshwar Mahadev temple for constructing a Satsang hall.

The meeting will also take up a proposal to name the stretch of road from Ambedkar Square to Geeta Bhavan after the late municipal trade unionist N M Vyas.
