There are no waiters, only two attendants at the service counter. They tell us our order will be ready in a few minutes. We begin with Prawn Torpedo (Rs 99). The four prawns rolled in bread crumbs are hot and crisp. Then we move on to the juicy Prawn Burger (Rs 99), which could easily give McDonald’s a run for its money.

The Prawn Spring Roll (Rs 99) — fried prawns coated with mayonnaise and stuffed inside a roll — is chunky but greasy. However, the Prawn Cocktail (Rs 99) comes out trumps. The prawns are served in a wine glass, topped with olives and mixed in lettuce and mayonnaise.

A serving of rice costs Rs 19, which is expensive, considering that you only get a tiny portion. The lack of waiters is another disadvantage. You have to hope that the housekeeping staff clear the plates piled up on your table.
