Even as Liz Hurley has reportedly taken her lover boy Arun Nayar on a holiday aimed at saving their relationship, media attention has now shifted to the state of Imran Khan and Jemima marital bliss.

The eight-year-old marriage of Jemima and Imran has run into serious difficulties, The Mail on Sunday said. The paper quoted their friends as saying that Jemima, 29, has moved back to Britain where she is studying for M.A. while Imran is pursuing his political career in Islamabad. But Jemima has hotly denied the rumours, issuing a statement in Pakistani newspapers to end the rumour mongering.

It said: "Whilst it is true that I am currently studying for a Masters degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, it is certainly not true to say that Imran and I are having difficulties in our marriage.

This is a temporary arrangement and, Inshallah, I will be moving back to Pakistan once my studies are finished and once the building of our farmhouse outside Islamabad is complete."

The separation is said to have been caused by Jemima's desire to spend more time with her own family in London, where she has bought a £1.5 million house in fashionable Fulham.

"I'm studying for a master's degree in London, so obviously I'm not in Pakistan," said Jemima. According to The Mail she is aware of the rumours about her marriage but refuses to comment.
