The airline announced that the revised schedule had been uploaded on the website to put an end to the confusion fliers have had to endure. “We will operate all flights in the new schedule,” said Sanjay Agarwal, chief operating officer, Kingfisher Airlines, at a press conference on Tuesday.

“The uncertainty has ended. We hope that the anxiety among passengers will also wear off soon,” said Anup Kanuga, owner, Bathija Travels. For those flying out of the city, the airline's revised schedule has at least 11 flights less as compared to the original timetable submitted with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the winter.

Of the flights that didn't find a place in the new schedule, most are the ones operated between metros. For instance, the airline's website shows nine flights to Delhi from Mumbai, four less than those in schedule submitted with the DGCA.

Travel agents said that the reduction in flights was unlikely to affect airfares. “Most of the cancelled flights were the ones scheduled during non-peak hours. Therefore, the reduction should not have any major impact on demand,” Kanuga said.
