In pics: Bhopal's never ending nightmare

On the night of December 2, 1984, a factory owned by the US multinational Union Carbide Corp accidentally leaked cyanide gas into the air, killing thousands in Bhopal. Thirty years on, here are pictures of what Bhopal suffered.

On the night of December 2, 1984, a factory owned by the US multinational Union Carbide Corp accidentally leaked cyanide gas into the air, killing thousands in Bhopal. Survivors suffered lung cancer, kidney failure, liver disease and eye disorders. Till date, some children born to survivors have mental or physical disabilities. Thirty years on, here are pictures of what Bhopal suffered.
