The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and India's Foreign Minister plan to hold news conferences on Tuesday after a regional summit that saw the first talks between their nuclear-armed countries since 2001.

Pakistani Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali planned to speak to the media at 1 pm (0800 GMT), followed by a briefing by Indian Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha at 2:00 pm. (0900 GMT).
Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf then plans to hold a news conference at 4:30 pm (1130 GMT), officials said.
India and Pakistani officials have so far refused to detail ground-breaking talks on Monday between Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and Musharraf, or to say whether they had made any concrete progress towards resolving a decades-old dispute over Kashmir, the heart of rivalry between the countries.
