India on Monday test-fired its home grown Astra air-to-air missile from a defence base in Orissa, for the second time in two days.
Officials said the missile was tested from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in the coastal district of Balasore, about 230 km from Balasore, just a little after 10 am.
The missile, considered a new system in India's guided missile development programme, has a striking range of 25-40 km.
