Indian Airlines prize distribution

“CHALLENGE HAVE arisen along with competition in the air service industry and Indian Airlines would also have to update itself and provide better services to its customers to ensure its position in the market,” said Indian Airlines western region senior marketing manger Ravi Devlani while addressing an annual prize distribution programme for its authorised travel agents.

He also asked travel agents to send their suggestions to the Airlines in order to provide better facilities to the passengers.

Frequent Travels was given the first prize at the programme, while Jose Travels got the second prize. Facilities Travels won the third position. Senior marketing manger of Indian Airlines D V Gadgil was the special invitee of the programme. Air India district sales manager S K Bose presided over the programme.

Gadgil explained the objectives of programme and also presented the sales figures. He said that around 4,605 passengers had travelled in airbus from December 2005 to February 2006.

Nitesh Travels won the lucky draw prize conducted at the programme. On the occasion travel agents requested officials to start regular airbus services. Traffic assistant Vivek Kante conducted the programme. Airport officer Ashwin Jamar proposed the vote of thanks.
