A court in Dubai has sentenced an Indian man to 15 years' imprisonment for stabbing a compatriot to death.

The Dubai Court of First Instance charged the 30-year-old Indian electrician with the premeditated murder of the man at a labour camp here.

The accused was cutting onions in the kitchen when he picked up an argument with the victim.
The electrician then stabbed the victim in his heart.
A watchman at the site notified police, and a paramedic team tried to save the life of the victim, Gulf News reported quoting court records.
