Indian gets top security job in Dubai

Suresh Nair, who is from Kerala, heads the security division of East Coast Services in Dubai.

A post-graduation degree from the University of Leicester has completely transformed the life of an Indian from Kerala by landing him a top security job in Dubai.

Suresh Nair is the fourth Indian and the first Malayali to obtain a postgraduate degree in Security and Organisational Risk Management from the department of criminology, University of Leicester.

Nair now heads the security division of East Coast Services, Dubai, UAE - a growing corporate firm involved in the service industry.

"My division is engaged in providing total security solutions such as manned guarding, security surveys and audits, close protection services and door supervision.

We have a clientele of over 100 leading government, commercial and business establishments in Dubai. I am sure my academic qualification from the UK made it easy for me to get this top management assignment," says Nair.

Recalling his time at Leicester, Nair adds: "I often miss the academic community and educational infrastructure that were offered to me by the university. My education at the University of Leicester has transformed me into a different person in terms of experience of life and professional knowledge."
