Indian killed in Dubai road mishap

Mujeeb Abdul Karim, 26, was trying to cross the road in the Al Qouz industrial area when the bus crushed him early Monday.

An Indian labourer who had arrived in Dubai only a week ago was killed when a mini bus ran over him near the New Medina Supermarket.

According to a report in the Khaleej Times newspaper, Mujeeb Abdul Karim, 26, was trying to cross the road in the Al Qouz industrial area when the bus crushed him early Monday.

Karim, who hails from Kannur in Kerala, was working in Best Choice Industries.

An uncle of the deceased was quoted as saying that Karim had arrived in Dubai in search of work because his family in India was fully dependent on him.
