Indian trade delegation to visit China

The delegation, led by the Union Textile Secretary DP Singh, would visit Shanghai and Beijing till June 24.

A trade delegation from India is on a visit to China to interact with the representatives of Chinese Government and Industries and to share experience and knowledge of both the countries.

The delegation, led by the Union Textile Secretary DP Singh, would visit Shanghai and Beijing till June 24 and explore mutual trade promotion initiatives.

A Shaktivel, president of the exporters' association of Tirupur, a major textile hub near in Coimbatore, is also part of the delegation.

Both countries could complement and supplement each other capabilities to mutual advantage by this visit, since the entire American and European markets were looking for sourcing their requirements, a release from Tirupur Exporters' Assoaciton said on Sunday.

The delegation was deputed by the Centre on the invitation of China National Textile and Apparel Council, it said.
