Shaikh admitted of possessing false identification at the Leicester Crown Court, where Judge Simon Hammond ordered him to be deported to India after serving six months of a 12-month sentence.
He said: "The defendant has not been a burden on the state and now wishes to go back to India. There's great anxiety about people using false documents and it's extremely serious."
