World champion Sebastian Vettel displayed a flair for language and an eye for the ladies as he used halting Hindi to pay tribute to India's beautiful women on Sunday.

Asked to sum up his experiences in India in one phrase, the boy-wonder replied: "Aapki ladki bahut sunda hai (your women are beautiful)."

The sentiment was quickly endorsed by McLaren driver Jenson Button, who placed second behind 24-year-old Vettel at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.
Cheeky Vettel famously names his cars after women and calls his latest Red Bull model "Kinky Kylie", in reference to its striking rear end.
