Indians Raj Bharath and Vishnu Prasad will begin the JK Racing Asia Series season opener at the Sepang International Circuit, 12th and 13th on the grid, respectively.

While both drivers couldn't manage any testing, Prasad will find it harder as this is his first time on the Sepang circuit.

"I didn't get to practice in the morning. I don't know the track so I am just getting used to it," said Prasad.

"The session was not bad, although I qualified last. Hopefully, I can improve my pace and go up a few places."

Bharath, who had taken part in the full JK Racing Asia Series last year, had to get acquainted with the car.

“Qualifying was not bad. The team has given me a good car. It was a good session but by the time I got used to the car it was too late," he explained.

This weekend's action is crucial for the two, because after Sepang, JK will evaluate and decide which of the three Indian drivers to sponsor for the season.
