Indian students, who wanted to study in the United Kingdom, mostly preferred MBA course, followed by engineering, hospitality and tourism, according to a senior officer in the Study Overseas Ltd (SOL), UK, a leading British Education Consultants.

With one year course for master's degrees in the majority of the Universities in Britain, MBA course was popular among the Indian students, Manjeet Nanner, Director, Indian Operations of SOL said.
SOL is the largest independent British Education consultancy in India and the only company, which provided free counselling services on many British education institutions within India.
Stating that the company was sending about 1400 students from India to the United Kingdom annually, Manjeet said that compared to Universities in the US and Australia, the education would be little expensive in the United Kingdom.
