“Two primary students from Mayur Vihar and Preet Vihar reported they were infected with the virus. Both are fine and responding well to the treatment,” said principal Meeta Rai, adding the primary section will stay closed till September 28.

The district health department has sanitised the school premises. The administration said around 3,000 students study in the primary wing of the school.

“We have instructed all schools to keep an eye on symptoms similar to swine flu,” Ghaziabad’s chief medical officer AK Dhawan said.
