Indore sitting pretty as Raja slams unbeaten 149

Raja Parth Sahani once again showed his class to score third century in succession to put Indore division in driver’s seat. In his first match against Sagar, Parth blasted an unbeaten 204 and in the second match (semifinals) he scored a classic 160 against Jabalpur division. In the final against Bhopal, he is batting on 149 with 26 hits to the fence.

It was a chanceless innings. Parth never allowed the opponent bowlers to dominate him and blasted the loose balls to the fence.

The City boy, son of a former Ranji player Mukesh Sahani, has taken tips from his father and his patience to stay at the middle of the wicket has helped him complete his third century in succession.

Parth and Prateek made merry of Bhopal bowlers and they made the opponent bowlers loose their line and length. Bhopal tried their best to dismiss Parth but could not succeed. Bhopal fielding too was not up to the mark as they dropped a couple of sitters which helped the hosts.

Vishal Chouhan captured three wickets for 132 runs and rest of the bowlers toiled in vain. At the end of day’s play Indore were sitting pretty at 371/5. Parth Sahani was going strong at 149.
