Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Friday said rising inflation, which went up to 5.45 per cent during the week which ended on November 18, is due to primary products, especially pulses.
"Inflation is a supply side problem. We have to manage it," Chidambaram told in New Delhi.

The wholesale prices-based inflation rose to 5.45 per cent for the week which ended on November 18 from 5.29 per cent in the previous week.
Inflation was at 4.27 per cent during the corresponding week last year.
