Infosys team to conduct joint campus initiative

EXPERTS FROM software giant Infosys are in Allahabad to conduct a joint campus initiative at the United College of Engineering and Research (UCER). Head, Placement and Training, UCER, Prabhakar Vardhan, in a Press release, said on Tuesday, the Infosys team, led by Narendra Medappa, Head HRD, had arrived at UCER. The recruitment process would be conducted for B.Tech and MCA students.

Head, Placement and Training, UCER, Prabhakar Vardhan, in a Press release, said on Tuesday, the Infosys team, led by Narendra Medappa, Head HRD, had arrived at UCER. The recruitment process would be conducted for B.Tech and MCA students.

For the last three years Infosys and UCER have been conducting joint campus recruitment process for the students. Infosys has been picking up students in a good number from UCER for the past three years. Medappa said this year too he would be recruiting over 150 students from this campus exercise.

Apart from students of UCER and UIM, over 1,500 students representing all engineering colleges, affiliated to UP Technical University will be participating.

Some of the colleges are: JK Institute of Applied Sciences, Allahabad; MIT Moradabad; ICET Ghaziabad; Dr Virendra Swaroop Institute of Computer Science; Shri Ram Swaroop College of Engineering Lucknow; KNIT Sultanpur; Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College Gorakhpur; Institute of Technology and Management Gorakhpur, Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management Lucknow; IET Bundelkhand.
