Insensitive to HIV-affected

The report More trauma for HIV+ kids (June 23) has yet again confirmed that it is not easy to remove the stigma associated with HIV/Aids. While the government makes efforts to educate the masses on a reasonable and empathetic approach towards HIV-affected children in schools, the state education department cannot deny parents transfer certificates for a change of school for their wards. Compassionate attitudes are a must to resolve such delicate issues.
