FIA Inspector and Formula One race director Charlie Whiting visited the Buddh International Race Circuit on Thursday for planned routine inspection.
"He stated that the progress was more than satisfactory and exceeded expectations from when he last visited the site. He also expressed confidence that the inaugural Indian Grand Prix will be huge success," Vicky Chandhok, president, Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) said in a press release.
"The security wing team advised increasing height of the marshals area and the medical inspection team inspected the medical equipment and medical centre. A helipad has been developed at the site as two helicopters will remain at the site around the clock," Askari H Zaidi, senior vice president, JPSI.
