After two decades, the people in the insurgency-hit areas in Srinagar will celebrate the Dusshera festival.

Kashmiri Pandit Sangarash Samiti said the festival celebrated as victory of good over evil will be held in Srinagar on Srinagar after a gap of 20 years.

A religious procession was taken out in the city last month in a peaceful atmosphere, Samiti President, Sanjay Tickoo, said.
