No casualty was reported in the attack at the camp, located about eight km from the town bordering Myanmar, sources said.

The insurgents fired bullets and lobbed grenades and tried to enter the camp. Security personnel retaliated and the attackers fled to nearby thick jungles, they said, adding that it was yet to be confirmed whether the camp belonged to Assam Rifles or the army.
