THE SQUADS posted with the Anti-encroachment branch, Planning and Fire Brigade departments of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) were integrated today to constitute a new team that would carry out anti-encroachment drive in the City.
Municipal Commissioner Manish Singh appointed anti-encroachment officer N C Saxena as in-charge of the integrated team. Saxena would coordinate with the three departments to make the anti-encroachment drive effective.
Meanwhile, the present in-charge of Planning and Fire Brigade departments Virendra Tiwari has been posted as in-charge of the Planning Cell, Social Security Pension, Education and Food departments of the BMC.
PROJECT ASSISTANT SUSPENDED: Municipal Commissioner Manish Singh today suspended BMC Project Assistant Anandilal Sen with immediate effect.
Sen was suspended for not supervising the work of subordinates and dereliction of duty. He would be attached to the Dr Ambedkar Library during suspension period.
