AN INVESTITURE ceremony of the newly appointed school cabinet of St Mary Convent Senior Secondary School was held today.
DIG, Bhopal, Anuradha Shankar was the chief guest while Aarambh Director Archana Sahay was the guest of honour. School principal Sr Joanna welcomed the guests and extended blessings to the members of school cabinet.
The chief guests administered the oath of office to the cabinet that comprised Ankur Shrivastava and Richi Pandey as head boy and head girl respectively. Tumana Hussain took oath as coordinator.
Sunit Mathew and Tanvi Singhal took oath as captain and vice-captain of Gandhi House; Shiveta Tandon and Tomol Joy as captain and vice-captain of Tagore House; and Sanya Sukumaran and Anmol Verma as captain and vice-captain of Nehru House.
The school is celebrating its silver jubilee in 2006-2007. The chief guest unveiled the silver jubilee curtain to mark the beginning of the year-long celebrations.
