"The main target now is to enforce a follow-on and we are only concentrating on that. We have crossed the first hurdle that was to post a huge total and now the second target is to make India bat again," Inzamam said after the second day's play at the Gaddafi Stadium.

"I know it will be tough for the bowlers because there isn't much in the wicket. But we need to give our best shot because not every day you post a huge score at an average of over four runs an over. We will come out all guns firing and see what happens.

"But one thing is for sure; we need to grab even the half chances on this track," Inzamam said.

India need to make 415 runs more to avoid follow-on after they closed the day on 65 for no loss chasing Pakistan's 679 for 7 declared.

The Pakistan captain, who suffered a rare failure when he was out after scoring a seven-ball one, said it would be interesting to see how much help Danish Kaneria extracts from this surface.

"The batsmen justified my decision to bat first. All the batsmen realised their responsibilities and this is the highpoint of this team that everyone stands up and delivers his best.

"Younis Khan played a gem and it was so sad to see him run-out for 199. But Shahid Afridi is someone who keeps everyone on the edge of their seats when he is batting. After he struck four straight sixes, I thought he had a good chance of hitting two more because Harbhajan (Singh) looked confused by then and had again came over the wicket after being struck for two sixes while bowling round-the-wicket.

"But Harbhajan is not a bunny and bowled the last two balls intelligently and avoided from going into history as the only bowler to be hit for six sixes.

"Nevertheless, I think we managed to declare before tea only because we achieved the score we had in mind due to his (Shahid Afridi) hard-hitting knock," Inzamam said as his team scored a phenomenal 353 runs in just 58.3 overs on the second day at an incredible 6.03 runs per over.
