IOA bosses in a fix

The Kolkata High Court has issued a contempt notice against the IOA's ad-hoc body for hockey for violating the court's order regarding the use of Sahara logo on the senior and junior team players' T-shirts, reports HT Correspondent.

The Kolkata High Court has issued a contempt notice against the IOA's ad-hoc body for hockey for violating the court's order regarding the use of Sahara logo on the senior and junior team players' T-shirts. The court has directed IOA chief Suresh Kalmadi, secretary-general Randhir Singh, treasurer Ashok Mattoo, ad-hoc committee member Rajiv Mehta and Mohd Aslam Khan to appear before it on April 16. Kolkata-based Leisure Sports Management Pvt Ltd on behalf of Sahara India served the notice on Tuesday.

“The court has issued contempt notice on the ground of wilful and deliberate violation made by the ad-hoc body," LSM's SS Dasgupta said.
