Jammu and Kashmir government has approved appointment of 6,000 teachers on the recommendations of Services Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) in Srinagar.

Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed on Monday announced at a meeting that the 6,000 vacant posts will be filled up soon.

He sought the cooperation of teachers and parents to improve educational standards and achieve cent percent literacy in the state.
The minister also stressed for imparting moral education to the students.
