Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah put out a series of tweets on Sunday afternoon, seeking feedback following the National Conference’s drubbing in the Lok Sabha polls.

The ruling NC could not open its account. Worse still, party patriarch and the CM’s father, Farooq Abdullah, tasted his first electoral defeat in over three decades.

Three of the state's six Lok Sabha seats went to the Bharatiya Janata Party, while the remaining three were bagged by Mehbooba Mufti's Peoples Democratic Party.

The NC has little time to get its act together. The state polls are due by November this year.

He added, “I want to learn, I NEED to learn. I'd like to try & make amends. I'll give it my best shot & I'd rather fail trying than not try at all (sic).”
