J&K Police to organise T20 cricket tourney next month

The Jammu and Kashmir Police plans to organise a T20 cricket tournament on the pattern of the Indian Premier League in Srinagar next month.
Eight teams will be participating in the leauge-cum-knock-out tournament, named J&K Police Friendhip T20 Cricket Cup to be held from July 10, police sources told PTI.
The organisers said the tournament will be played on the lines of IPL and the teams have been divided into two pools. The objective of the tournament is to improve the relations among the officers of various departements through the medium of sports, sources said.
