Terrorists have once again succeeded in their mission, this time in Jaipur. They succeed time and again because they can choose the place, time and means for their missions at will. And those in charge of the nation’s security are doing very little about it. Terrorists will carry on killing innocent people till their camps and cells are not destroyed. There will be some witch-hunting now by the security establishment but half-hearted, knee-jerk reactions are not going to help the country.

The serial bomb blasts in Jaipur in which several innocent people have been killed and scores injured must be condemned in the strongest possible manner. The police and security agencies must be given powers of preventive detention of suspects. There is no doubt that these heinous acts are being sponsored by our neighbours to spread terror in the country.
