Jaish terrorist killed in Kashmir

A top terrorist of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) is shot dead in an encounter with the police on the outskirts of Jammu on Saturday in the run up to the country's 60th Independence Day.

Inspector General of Police (Jammu Zone) SP Vaid said the terrorist has been identified as Saifullah Qari, a divisional commander of JEM. He added that Qari was behind a number of terrorist attacks in the state as well as other parts of the country.
