WITH THE twin objectives of arresting a decline in ground water-level and ensuring water conservation, a Jalabhishek Andolan will be launched in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.
This campaign will raise awareness about ground water conservation, he said while addressing a gathering at Avantipur Badodia village.

“I call upon the public to associate with Jalabhishek and appeal to make it a success,” he added. The campaign would be launched in every village on February 11. The CM announced Rs 15 lakh for a Potable Water Scheme in Shujalpur town and Rs 69 lakh for enhancing the height of Bandha Khedi dam by 3 metre.
