Jan Morcha plays Dalit card, ropes in Udit Raj

Talking to newspersons here on Tuesday, former Prime Minister VP Singh said Udit Raj’s entry into the Morcha would help the organisation in its fight against injustice.

Targeting Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Raj Babbar said the Samajwadi Party was in a mess and the assembly elections would reflect this. Babbar said the Morcha had launched a battle against capitalist forces, which had been exploiting farmers and other weaker sections in the State. He said the Justice Party would supplement its efforts in this struggle against anti-poor groups in the State.

VP Singh has been making deft efforts to bring all anti-SP organisations under one umbrella in UP. Morcha constituents have launched a massive drive for mobilisation of people for the May 30 rally here. Udit Raj called upon people to participate in large numbers in the rally. Raj hoped the Morcha would also fight the battle of Dalits who had so far been exploited by the BSP in the State. Raj said law and order in the State had crumbled and developmental activities had come to a standstill.
