Jawan injured by landmine in J&K on I-Day

One Army jawan injured in landmine blast in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

An Army jawan was injured in a landmine explosion on Tuesday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said the explosive, suspected to have been planted by terrorist, went off as an army team patrolled the Bafliaz belt of Poonch district early on Tuesday morning.

The injured jawan was hospitalised, they said, adding a search for terrorists responsible for the act had been launched in the area.
