Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa will take up "various important issues" of the state with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is arriving in Chennai on Sunday on a two-day visit.
"The chief minister will be receiving the Prime Minister at the airport and calling on him at the Raj Bhavan and present a memorandum on various important issues of Tamil Nadu," a government release said.
The Prime Minister is on a to the state and is scheduled to participate in functions at Chennai and Karaikudi.

Jayalalithaa is likely to take up with him issues including the ongoing Mullaperiyar row and the Koodankulam protests.
