The survey projected 46 per cent votes for AIADMK, closely followed by DMK with 44 per cent, DMDK five per cent and five per cent for others.

It showed incumbent Jayalalithaa as the preferred Chief Minister with 42 per cent of those surveyed opting for her, followed by 39 per cent for DMK veteran M Karunanidhi.

While actor-turned-politician Vijaykant got five per cent in this category, S Ramadoss and MK Stalin, son of Karunanidhi, had to be content with one per cent each.

Another highlight was that 67 per cent of the respondents said they were satisfied with the work of the present government.
