The four-month-old JD(S)-BJP coalition ministry in Karnataka was expanded on Wednesday with the induction of eight ministers -- four from each party.

The Governor TN Chaturvedi administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers at the banquet hall of the Vidhana Soudha.

The new ministers are MP Prakash, HD Revanna, HK Kumaraswamy and Zameer Ahmed Khan from JD(S) and SA Ravindranath, Shivananda Naik, Revu Naik Belamagi and Shashikant Akkappa Naik from BJP.
