Why did you desert the RJD?
I believe in democratic values and the JD (U) is truly a democratic party.

What about the JD (U)-BJP tie-up?
The NDA is an amalgamation of different political parties, including the JD (U) and the BJP. The tie-up has been strengthened with the passage of time. The NDA government has led the country towards a new path of development.

Why did you choose Rosera?
I was elected from Rosera in 1989. I made efforts to speed up development work in the extremely backward area of Mithilanchal. I, however, did not find enough time to serve the people of the area.

You are likely to be involved in a straight fight with LJP candidate Ram Chandra Paswan, the younger brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, who has joined hands with RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav. What are the chances?
Politicians of different hues who have represented Rosera failed to come up to the expectations of the people of the area. Development work over the years has taken a backseat. I am confident that they are looking for a change.
